A concept that was developed for a restaurant in New York City. The goal was to create a transportive experience by crafting a space in which visitors can disconnect from the city. Our concept was to reconnect people from the city to nature's premier night time light show, the starry sky.

To increase the level of immersion, our team worked with architects to create a dome shaped ceiling painted in specialized black paint with hundreds of light sources integrated into it, making the stars a feature design element and further dissociating the space with the city.  Further to this the use of low, warm pools of light create intimate spaces, focusing groups to their respective dining experience.
